Resinbond Grinding Wheels
The Resin bond system of grinding wheel manufacture is the most universally usable superabrasive bond type over a wide variety of applications, machine types and grinding conditions. BMS use specially selected Thermo-setting phenolic resins to bond the superabrasive material for long wheel-life and optimum performance. The superabrasive is used in conjunction with fillers and secondary abrasives to yield wheels that are suitable for applications such as flute grinding, cylindrical grinding, and centreless grinding. Thin wheels are also used very successfully in cut-off operations.
